Fun Thanksgiving Events in Sonoma County

Looking for something to do in Sonoma County over the Thanksgiving holiday?

1. Petaluma’s Santa’s Riverboat Arrival

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they sail by tugboat into the Petaluma River Turning Basin and disembark at River Plaza Shopping Center on November 28 at 11:30 AM. Oliver the balloon artist and Budderball the clown will entertain the waiting crowd. As the 28th is also Small Business Saturday, the committee will be handing out swag bags filled with offers and information for Downtown merchants. Delicious goodies from the Boy Scout Troop 8 are also up for sale.

2. The Heart of Sonoma Holiday Open House

One of the annual favorites is The Heart of Sonoma Holiday Open House. This year’s 32nd annual holiday open house is on Nov 27 and 28, from 11 AM to 4 PM. The gathering will showcase more than 2 dozen wineries across Santa Rosa, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, and Sonoma. There will be live music, nibbles and wine tastings. It’s an opportunity to meet winemakers, mingle in caves and cellars, and thanks to special pricing, a chance to stock up on your favorite wines for the holidays.

3. Day After Thanksgiving Party

DaVero is a certified Biodynamic farm producing high quality wines. It holds an annual party and offers fun, complimentary wine tastings, great pizza, and delicious wines. Friday, November 27, 11 AM – 3 PM. No reservation required.

4. Shopping
